Neil Young

Neil Young would have to be my favorite artist of all time. I've been listening to him for most of my life and his music just keeps getting better. Young was a founding member of the band Buffalo Springfield before releasing his first solo album 'Neil Young' in 1968. He was also part of the supergroup Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young. Over the years he has influenced such bands as Pearl Jam, Nirvana, Sonic Youth, Radiohead and Oasis.  His 1979 half acoustic, half electric album 'Rust Never Sleeps' is one of my favorites.
